Tank construction

Tank wall plates, edge and corner reinforcement, roof beams, and bottom and wall spirals. All bent tank construction products are delivered according to your specifications. We can deliver coated and preserved products, equipped with holes, bevels and stamps.

New section bending machine is pushing boundaries

Van Rijsoort Bending doubled their capacity by purchasing a new section bending machine. The machine is the strongest of its kind which enables us to bend even bigger and heavier materials than ever before.

More capacity, possibilities and power

The new machine bents tubes and sections of steel, stainless steel and aluminium in almost every radius, shape and size. Tubes up and until Φ508 mm, sections up and until 1000 mm and rectangular tubes up and until 500 mm. This creates unprecedented possibilities for our customers.

“The ‘Hulk’ is pushing our production boundaries considerably. It offers more capacity, more possibilities because it can bend more extreme shapes and more power because its the strongest of its kind in Europe. Customers can now also contact us for bigger and heavier projects” as explained by Eric Koenhein, managing director at Van Rijsoort Bending.

More requests for larger projects

Reason for the investment? “We are specialists in bending tubes and sections for a very wide variety of markets and applications for over 100 years now. We see the demand for bending heavier and bigger materials growing every day in markets such as construction, offshore, machine builders, food- and piping industry and installation companies. In July 2018 the new section bending machine will arrive at Van Rijsoort. From that moment on we can also help out customers with a demand for bending heavier and larger tubes and sections.”

Involved in the complete process

With this investment Van Rijsoort is on the level it wants to be: a committed specialist who completely unburdened its customers and is involved in every asset of the project.

Koenhein: “Customers are now able to place orders for bending heavier and bigger tubes and sections. To secure the best possible bending method we give feedback on drawings and offer technical suggestions. Next to bending we can also offer additional services. For example cutting to size, welding, drilling, re-stamping certified material and much more. This assures the customer the product is ready to fit. If you look at transport and packaging, most important is safe handling and protection of the bent products. This does not only prevent the materials from damaging during transport it also helps the customer loading and unloading. To speed up the assembly process we can mark all individual items.”
