Tank construction

You come across bending structures everywhere you look including public areas. Bent sections for bridges, stations, and tunnel tubes are just a couple of examples. Most of the lampposts and poles are bent into the right shape. Van Rijsoort Bending is known for the enormous amount of structures it has bent for infrastructure projects over the past 115 years. With great care and marked with the right quality stamp, we insure that our products arrive on location undamaged.

The Hulk is up and running

After a long period of preparations, fine-tuning and testing our new section bending machine is now fully operational and the results are exceeding our expectations.

The first order for the Hulk included tubes for a new bridge in Thühringen (Germany). The customer choose Van Rijsoort because we could not only comply with the extreme specifications, but also managed to react quick so we could guarantee a very short delivery time.

Multiple lengths of tube Φ508×36 are bent in the requested radius. Although Van Rijsoort is used to bend heavy and large tubes and sections, the power of the new machine is extreme and confirms the name ‘Hulk’ is the most suitable one.

The tubes are meanwhile, fully according the requested specs, delivered in Germany and the customer informed us that he is very happy with the results. So, ‘Job well done’.
