ZEP - Middelburg

Zep Middelburg is a leisure park of approx 19,600 m2 of retail, restaurants and catering, and leisure.

Zep Middelburg is an innovative crowd-puller targeted at leisure activities. Special consumer facilities with a high level of ambition that together exert a strong attraction on the local population and on the tourists that are ever-present in Zeeland. It takes advantage of the consumer’s demand for shared leisure activities where there is something different for everyone to do; a well-considered combination of shops, catering, leisure and attractions.

Zep Middelburg was set up as an urban development composition and the architecture is based on Zeeland’s two most natural characteristics: wind and water.
The leisure park consists of five buildings plus the Scalda building on a plot of 7.7 hectares. A generous parking area has also been built with around 700 free parking spaces.
The construction started in 2008 and the park has been fully operational since December 2009.

In close cooperation with the customer, Van Rijsoort gained the order to provide the 2D and 3D bent tubes, in the dimensions Ø323.9 x 6.3, 8, 10 and 12.5 mm.
