Tank construction

Tank wall plates, edge and corner reinforcement, roof beams, and bottom and wall spirals. All bent tank construction products are delivered according to your specifications. We can deliver coated and preserved products, equipped with holes, bevels and stamps.

Round ‘flower balconies’ for eye-catcher in Rotterdam

Since 2017 Rotterdam is working on a project called “FORUM Rotterdam”. Living, working, shopping and restaurants will bring extra liveliness and dynamics in the city centre of Rotterdam. The former office building is being transformed to a residential tower with 103 apartments. Because of the outspoken design of the architectural firm OMA, located in Rotterdam, the round balconies shaped as flower leafs on this residential tower, will be a real eye-catcher in the city center.

Van Rijsoort Bending is proud to be part of this project.

Some technical details about the parts we supplied:

Bending rectangular tubes 70x11x2 (X-X axis)
900 lengths of 6 meter
Tubes bended with pre-applied holes
Radius varying from 1800 mm up and until 8000 mm

Everything well sorted, packed per position and marked with the correct balconie number.

We are very curious about the end result.
